Personal development is an ongoing process. Here I map out my personal development plan (PDP). Including:
- Employment history and experiences over my career(s),
- Education and qualifications, certifications and professional development courses undertaken,
- Skills analysis,
- Career action plan,
- Goals and objectives,
My PDP originally built on work undertaken through two modules while at university (Academic Skills with an assignment to write a PDP for our time at university and a third-year module Career Management and Employability). Further expanding to take into account personality type, such as Myers-Briggs type indicator and Belbin team roles and other indicators that could affect how I learn and behave within a role.
